Perfumes, chemicals and cosmetics can tarnish the excellence of your jewellery and dull the surface of gold-plated and sterling silver.

We recommend applying your cosmetics, moisturisers and hair products before wearing your jewellery.

Avoid spraying perfume directly onto or around your jewellery. As it might lead to discolouration.

Protect your jewellery when layering from scratching and chipping.

Please be extra careful with brass and copper compositions so your jewellery can last longer. 

Please note that all metals oxidise naturally with time and will require maintenance.

Storage

When jewellery is exposed to moisture and humidity it can cause oxidisation and tarnishing. We recommend storing your jewellery in cool and dark places. Our Mon Paleis pouches are perfect for this.
